Workplace & Campus Investigations

Independent. Objective. Thorough.

Independent Investigations. Thoughtfully Conducted.

When organizations are faced with allegations of workplace or campus misconduct, the quality of the investigation matters. A well-conducted investigation does more than gather facts—it promotes confidence in the process, supports informed decision-making, and helps organizations respond to sensitive situations with confidence and integrity.

Lee Labor Law conducts independent workplace and campus investigations throughout California involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other potential policy violations. Every investigation is tailored to the unique circumstances of the matter, with careful planning, thoughtful interviewing, objective analysis, and well-reasoned findings that organizations can rely upon.

Independent

An independent investigator brings a fresh perspective, free from pre-existing relationships or organizational influences, strengthening confidence in an objective and impartial investigative process.

Every investigation is conducted through a balanced process that gives all participants an opportunity to be heard and ensures findings are grounded in the evidence.

Thorough

Every investigation is conducted with careful planning, thorough fact-gathering, and thoughtful analysis to support well-reasoned findings.

When an Independent Investigator Adds Value

Every organization is different, and not every workplace or campus concern requires an independent investigator. However, there are circumstances in which an independent investigator can strengthen confidence in both the investigative process and the conclusions reached. Organizations often retain an independent investigator when allegations involve senior leadership, multiple participants, sensitive workplace or campus issues, or situations in which neutrality is particularly important.

Independent investigations conducted by Lee Labor Law are tailored to the unique circumstances of each matter and are guided by fairness, objectivity, and sound judgment. The goal is not simply to gather facts, but to provide organizations with a thoughtful, well-supported investigation that promotes confidence in the process and assists informed decision-making.

Whether responding to allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, executive misconduct, or other sensitive concerns, every investigation is conducted with careful planning, thoughtful interviewing, objective analysis, and well-reasoned findings that organizations can rely upon.
